The ring tone has become the "this is who I (think I) am" accessory. Sure you may have your Sexy-Back or are white-as-rice and want everyone to believe your hip-hop street cred, but wow... You're on a commuter bus to Bellevue. Do you really believe that blaring a tinny, sad rendition of the latest Jay-Z joint is going to somehow negate the fact that you're wearing pleat-front Dockers and are carrying your lunch in a teal nylon lunch-tote?
